CREATE, which is Teknikbyn’s incubator, is a continuation of the Kick Start new entrepreneurs’ programme. Kick Start is a dynamic process intended for the development of ideas, people, business and companies in order to commercialise good ideas faster. Above all, the incubator offers the following:

• Business development: business coaching of individual companies and advice by own business coaches who all have personal experience of the start-up and development of companies, employees, financing, etc.
• Training and seminars: individually and in groups on a needs basis adapted for new businesses and including seminars and courses within, for example, sales techniques, financing, presentation techniques, IP strategies and project management
• Financing: knowledge about acquiring capital and an established network of business angels and venture capital stakeholders, which ensures that all business projects fulfil market requirements
• Networks: strategic relationships within the business sector and academia
• Offices and services: creative environment for inspiration and exchange

The incubator consists of a selection process where the projects chosen receive support through business development, acquiring capital and the recruitment of key staff in order to commercialise a technology or a knowledge-intensive business opportunity.
