Teknikbyn is one of the largest science parks in Sweden. Teknikbyn has a central location in the industrial environment of Kopparlunden in a historic district in Västerås, as well as in the centrally located Melkerhuset building and in the expansionary Vallbyinstitutet. Here, around 200 established businesses are located and which employ more than 1,600 people.

For the past ten years, Teknikbyn has supported the start-up, development and growth of knowledge and technology-intensive businesses. Entrepreneurs and businesses are offered a creative forum for meeting and working, together with business development support and growth-related activities. We offer advanced programmes which focus on both new entrepreneurs and established businesses, where they can receive support and business coaching in order to achieve their goals. Members have access to a large network and can also enjoy the benefits of subsidised agreements with Teknikbyn’s collaborating partners.
